CarPlan Exhaust Repair Bandage is a tough epoxy resin bandage which bonds to the exhaust system with the application of heat, creating a long lasting, gas tight repair.

APPLICATION

Ensure surface to be repaired is dry and free from rust, oil and dirt. Sand metal with a wire brush if necessary. Warm the exhaust for a few minutes. On holes or splits, affix the flame shield foil over the damaged area. Peel the plastic film from both sides of the bandage, wrap over the flame shield foil and exhaust tightly, overlapping the edges by at least 13mm. Apply the fixing wire to secure the bandage. Run the engine for 20 minutes or drive carefully whilst the bandage is curing.
